4-weeks of Dharma: The Three Marks of Existence

In a life filled with demands and distractions, is it possible to slow down and return to what is really important?

In the 4-weeks of Dharma series, we will explore the nature of the mind through traditional Buddhist teachings from the Insight meditation tradition. Each week, we will meet on Zoom for a Dharma talk, guided meditation, relational practices, and an opportunity to share/ask questions.

This series will be taught in English, and questions and comments in both French and English are welcome and encouraged. Recordings of the Dharma talk and guided meditations will also be made available.

Please note: This is a class series and not a drop-in class. It is suggested that you have existing experience with mindfulness before signing up (e.g. you have completed an introduction to mindfulness course, have attended an Insight meditation retreat, and/or regularly attend a weekly meditation group).

Dates: Wednesdays November 4, 11, 18, and 25.

Time: 6:30 - 8:30 PM ET

Cost: Sliding scale $10-$20-$35 plus dāna (donation) to the teachers. This payment scale allows participants to pay according to their financial means. The cost of the series covers curriculum research and design, and online teaching expenses, while another portion goes to non-profit organization True North Insight.

Zoom: This series will be hosted on Zoom. If you don't already have it, please make sure to download Zoom to the device you will be joining from. A private link and password will be sent to you an hour before the event start from email address dawnmeditation@gmail.com.
