Resting Deeply
A residential retreat for those who crave rest, community, and the freedom to simply be.
In a world that demands increasingly urgency, rest is an act of resistance—and a birthright. Led by Buddhist teachers and Somatic Experiencing Practitioners Dawn Mauricio and Coral Short, you are invited to a retreat designed exclusively for 2SLGBTQI+ and BIPOC individuals—a safer, affirming space to unwind, reconnect, and experience deep rest.
Together, we'll explore down-regulating activities such as vocal toning, intuitive art-making, grounding meditations, self-massage, and relaxing spa and art stations. Engage in conversations about rest, take slow nature walks, and practice co-regulation techniques that foster safety and belonging.
Every activity is optional—listen to your body, honor your needs, and set your own pace.
